  6. just writing a review about this cd makes me feel old. This cd is so good that I will go ahead take the the exception of anarky in the u.k. every song on this album is a thrash metal masterpiece. I'm not sure why this album gets overlooked in the wake of rust in piece and peace sells because the music is absolutely stellar/5().
  7. Megadeth. So far, so good, so what! Old style Heavy Metal that, by today's comparisons, is relatively mild. Quite a varied musical style within the stereotype too. As, in the fact that, each track was distinct, and not just a thrash of noise from start to finish. Lots of fret work, direction and key changes. A definitive album/5().

  9. The album wants to sound threatening but mostly comes off as forced and somewhat juvenile; typical is the embarrassing cover of "Anarchy in the U.K.," which is played in Megadeth's tightly controlled riffing style and without the looseness of the original, making it sound stilted and stiff -- and Mustaine doesn't even get the lyrics right.
